What is Vice City Studio? An unofficial GTA 6 toolkit

An honest tour of Vice City Studio: the unofficial map companion, free wallpapers, Creator Studio, and Assets Generator — not Rockstar, not a leak list, not a store that sells the game.

Vice City Studio is a fan-made toolkit around Grand Theft Auto VI — the ATLAS map is the center of gravity, not an official Rockstar product.

The short honest answer

Vice City Studio is an unofficial, fan-made toolkit for people waiting on Grand Theft Auto VI and for people who will cover it. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. It does not sell the game. It does not host leaked builds.

The live tools are a Leonida / Vice City companion map, free cinematic wallpapers with an optional photo Personalize path, a Creator Studio for titles and 1280×720 thumbnails, and an Assets Generator that builds original textured GLB props. The site is ad-free. A waitlist exists if you want one email when the companion updates ahead of November 19, 2026.

If you arrived from a search that promised “official GTA 6 map” or “complete collectible list,” you are in the wrong place for that fantasy and the right place for a board you can actually use without a spoiler dump.

Say the unofficial line when you share a screenshot. It keeps comment threads shorter, and it matches the disclaimer already on the map, the wallpapers, and Creator Studio. Ambition is fine. A fake Rockstar watermark is not.

The four live tools

The map is the main product. /map is the wider Leonida set. /island is the gold studio board. /map2 is a related interactive view. /companion is the marketing door, not a hidden atlas. Pins are real Florida landmarks used as geographic reference. Mark-as-found, district meters, isolate, and closest path are how you track progress without a public feed.

Wallpapers at /wallpapers are fan-made Vice City style stills. Free pooled looks download as desktop 16:9 or mobile 3:4. Personalize styles put your photo in a poster and spend credits. They are not official key art.

Creator Studio at /creator-studio is the click desk: three title angles, curated thumbnail layouts, a brand kit, optional batch captions, and a YouTube update for videos you already uploaded. Assets Generator at /assets-generator previews a 2D reference for free, then spends one credit on a textured GLB you can download or pin on the island — not import into GTA 6.

What Vice City Studio is not

It is not Rockstar. It is not a leak aggregator. It is not a 100% collectible spreadsheet. It is not a FiveM server, a trainer, or a GTA VI import pipeline. Assets copy that mentions engine folders means your own projects — not a promise that a browser form injects a mesh into the November 19 build.

Landing cards may talk about Scout and Pro, confirmed versus rumour language, or credits. Read the tool you opened. Map guides on this site describe geographic reference and found-state. They do not quietly turn into a paid loot list.

News, freebies, and the countdown embed are supporting pages. /freebies is noindex on purpose — it is a utility door to wallpapers and the widget, not a second article library.

Who it is for

Players who want to learn where Ocean Beach sits relative to downtown, then mark finds privately after launch. Creators who need titles and a thumbnail that survives a phone shelf. People who only want a lock screen and will never open the map. Tinkerers who want an original prop file and a joke pin on the gold island.

It is not for people hunting a cracked build, a leaked mission order, or an official business directory. Those searches will keep existing. This studio will not satisfy them on purpose.

Casual fans can ignore everything except the countdown and a free wallpaper. The tools do not require the game to be installed. That is the point of a companion that ships before November 19.

If you are here from Discord, start with one tool. The homepage grid makes it look like you must set up a full studio. You do not. Open the map or grab a wallpaper and leave. The rest of the library is here when a search intent actually matches.

How the guides fit

Long product pillars exist for the map, wallpapers, Creator Studio, and Assets. This library also has deeper pages for the release date, the district directory, spoiler-free tracking, Leonida versus the island board, the phone map, Personalize photos, and launch-week prep. Thinner search pages cover filters, mark-as-found, and individual districts.

Auto district URLs publish only when a region already has at least 20 plotted landmarks. That is why you will not find twenty-two empty beach essays. Pins stay on the map when a page would be a doorway to nothing.

Every guide is supposed to repeat the same honesty: unofficial, Florida reference, no invented loot. If a paragraph ever sounds like a leak list, it is out of date — trust the disclaimer over the hype.

Access, credits, and the waitlist

Browsing the map and downloading free cinematic wallpapers does not require a credit pack. Photo personalize and GLB builds do. Creator Studio has a free generate path; some layouts and pro toggles sit behind credits or entitlement. Map write-ups never spend that wallet.

The waitlist incentive is simple: be ready when GTA 6 drops November 19, with one email on launch day about new map pins, guides, and tools. It is not a promise of 24-hour official assets from Rockstar.

Discord is the public room if a guide is unclear. Legal pages point there when no contact email is set. That is a small studio, not a corporate support desk pretending to be Take-Two.
